				Skirmish, Assault, and CTF (Capture The Flag) are the basic non-roleplaying game styles available with FOT.  Skirmish involves teams or individuals fighting each other to the death.  Assault involves a particular mission (throwing a switch, destroying something, etc.) that must be executing by the attacking team.  Capture the Flag is exactly as it sounds: capture the flag for points.  Skirmish is the favored style of play and many of the CTF and Assault maps are used for Skirmish battles (assault objectives and flags ignored). For the 10k ruleset, there are several variations, the standard one being the prohibition of energy weapons, big guns (outside of flamer), and grenades.  Sometimes differing rules may exist (i.e. not flamer pistol, no gauss, etc.)  The traditional characters for 10k are humans.
